Annex F – SURVEY OF ROBOTIC CONTROL AND TELEOPERATION ARCHITECTURES Technical Report
نویسنده
چکیده
In this document, we summarise and analyse existing robotic control and teleoperation architectures included their software implementation. After the introduction where a layered structure is proposed and discussed, we present the requirements expressed by the Clawar community. The architecture overview has been divided in two sections: the first one contains a review of existing control architectures for autonomous robots while the second one is devoted to teleoperation architectures. A comprehensive comparison of the latter ones is presented at the end of the section.

متن کاملDelay-dependent stability for transparent bilateral teleoperation system: an LMI approach
There are two significant goals in teleoperation systems: Stability and performance. This paper introduces an LMI-based robust control method for bilateral transparent teleoperation systems in presence of model mismatch. The uncertainties in time delay in communication channel, task environment and model parameters of master-slave systems is called model mismatch. The time delay in communicatio...
متن کاملNETROL: An Internet-Based Control Architecture for Robotic Teleoperation
The design and performance of NETROL, a distributed internet-based control architecture for robotic teleoperation, is presented. Experimental data is provided to quantify the magnitude and variation of time delay as well as the level of packet loss introduced by this control architecture for robotic control over a range of distances and networking configurations. Results show that effective pil...
متن کاملA modular passivity framework for multilateral teleoperation applications
In the past few years multilateral teleoperation systems that enable the interaction and coupling of several robotic devices gained in importance as this concept promises especially an increase of ergonomics and precision in teleoperation systems. The challenge in the control of such multi-robot setups is the generalization of the stability proof independent of the number of robotic agents invo...
متن کاملA Framework for Using Discrete Control Synthesis in Safe Robotic Programming and Teleoperation
Robotic systems are of a growing size and complexity , hence their programming and execution architec-tures require more abstraction and tool support. Especially in safety-critical robotic systems (e.g., space robotics, robotic surgery) formal methods can be useful, when made useable by domain-specialists. We are particularly interested in discrete control synthesis. We propose a framework for ...
